Glad to hear a 10-year-old is excited to get started with the right tools for rockhounding trips or enjoying what's available near the home front. However, everyone has their own version of what could be required for each specific trip. I would enjoy putting on a program for all the young and those that have the heart to go out and test their skills in finding their very own gems. Keep eyes and ears out for your dates and schedule on each subject. Rock on!

This is true for many people. I've heard that people do it to polish rocks too, yet small enough not to hurt when bending over LOL. Our kids have stretched many of their shirts back in the days to and from bus stops.
